Professor Juan Pedro Ronconi recently presented his research at a prestigious event held at the Harvard Business School.

The 10th edition of the Empirical Management Conference, which gathered participants, from all over the world, took place between December 12th to 13th at the Harvard Business School, Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Juan Pedro Ronconi presented his paper titled “Nudges, Managerial Planning, and Small Firm Performance: Evidence from Online Commerce,” which examines the planning process in entrepreneurship.

“The study shows that small business managers face behavioral barriers that affect their performance, and that interventions based on behavioral economics can help improve their outcomes,” said the academic.

The conference on empirical management focused on recent empirical research on measuring and exploring management and organizational practices. The event brought together international experts from the public and private sectors to discuss their research.
