From August 19 to 22, international experts will gather in Valle Nevado for an enriching workshop on the Economics of Education.

The Human Development Lab is organizing the third edition of the Workshop on Economics of Education, which will take place at Valle Nevado, Chile, between August 19th and 22nd. This prestigious event will bring together leading international experts in the field to share their latest research and foster collaboration.

In previous editions, participants included renowned researchers and professors from some of the world’s most prestigious universities, such as Joshua Angrist, Nobel Laureate in Economics, and Miguel Urquiola, Dean of Social Sciences at Columbia University. More than 20 experts from institutions such as Duke University, the University of Amsterdam, the University of Chicago, UC San Diego, the University of Oregon, Yale University, the World Bank, and the Caribbean and Latin American Development Bank (CAF) also contributed with their research presentations.

The workshop offers a unique combination of formal academic sessions and informal activities, allowing participants to engage in enriching discussions, build professional connections, and exchange ideas in a relaxed environment.
