Andrés Barrios, Director of the Human Development Lab, conducted a three-day academic visit to Yale University from November 24 to 26, where he participated in meetings with researchers aimed at deepening academic collaboration and expanding international research networks.
During the visit, Barrios met with his coauthors Christopher Neilson and Seth Zimmerman, with whom he is developing a research project examining the role that elite universities play in shaping national political leadership. “We worked intensely for two days and defined the next steps toward finalizing the project,” Barrios explained.
The agenda included multiple working sessions and academic meetings with Yale researchers, aimed at deepening intellectual exchange and fostering future joint initiatives. This visit is part of the Lab’s ongoing efforts to participate in high-level global research networks and contribute evidence-based insights to educational and institutional development.
