The Human Development Lab at the Universidad de los Andes has launched its first postdoctoral position in Economics of Education, aiming to strengthen research on key issues such as education and social mobility. The selected candidate will be hosted jointly with the Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales UANDES and will receive institutional support to apply for the ANID Postdoctoral Fellowship 2027.
The position includes sponsorship and guidance throughout the ANID application process, as well as a bridge contract starting in July 2026 (or a mutually agreed later date) until the official start of the ANID project. This initiative is part of HDL’s broader effort to build a growing academic community with strong access to data, mentorship, and collaborative research opportunities.
The call is open to researchers interested in contributing to evidence-based policymaking in education, particularly in areas related to inequality and mobility. Applications are open until Friday, May 8, and inquiries can be directed to hdl@uandes.cl
