The Human Development Lab is pleased to welcome Cristián Sánchez as a Visiting Scholar, further strengthening the Lab’s commitment to fostering international collaboration and advancing research in economics of education.
An applied microeconomist whose research focuses on public economics, industrial organization, and economics of education, Sánchez brings extensive experience studying how incentives and market structure shape the effectiveness of public policy. His work has addressed topics including school vouchers, competition among schools, teacher labor markets, and education policy in Latin America.
His visit provides an opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss ongoing research, and build new collaborations with faculty, researchers, and students at the Lab.
